Terms of Purchase: SHio Basic

Last updated: October 24, 2026

This page sets out what exactly you buy with SHio Basic, what happens at each step, and what each side is responsible for. SHio Basic is currently in early access (beta) — what that means for you is set out in section 1A. You agree to these terms before payment, with the tick box next to the Buy button.

1. Scope and order of precedence

These terms govern purchases of SHio Basic (via shioweb.com/basic). They supplement the general terms on the «Terms of Use» page; where they conflict, these terms prevail for SHio Basic. Seller: ⁨Individual Entrepreneur (FOP) Iryna Burman⁩ ("SHio"); full details in section 22.

1A. Early access (beta)

(a) SHio Basic is currently in early access (beta). The service works and is sold under these terms, but we are still developing it: adding features and improving how the sites look. So some parts may not run as smoothly as we would like, and the look and the set of features for new orders may change.

(b) The «beta» label does not reduce your rights or our obligations: everything described in section 2 must work as described, and all your rights under these terms and by law, including cancellation and refunds (sections 6 and 15), apply in full.

(c) If you notice a fault — on the preview before payment or on the site after the transfer — write to support@shioweb.com. We watch every early-access order and fix faults in our code free of charge, both during the 14 days of support and after them (sections 14 and 15(d)). If a fault on our side is not fixed within 7 days, you may cancel and get a full refund (section 15(d)).

(d) Improvements that come to SHio Basic later do not change the site already transferred to you without your consent, and we are not obliged to update it; your site is governed by the version of these terms in force at the time of payment (section 21).

2. What you get

A full website for your business: a main page and, as you choose, a page for each service and a links page, plus up to 5 pages you create yourself in the builder (prices, offers, about us, careers, our work or a blank one), in four languages — Hebrew, English, Russian and Ukrainian (the main language follows your country — Hebrew in Israel, Ukrainian in Ukraine, English elsewhere; the others can be switched off).

Website text: the sample texts of the template you chose, which you change yourself in the builder and the admin panel.

Templates: 90 templates in seven categories — «Services & professions», «Celebrations & events», «Health & care», «Hi-tech», «Online shops», «Designer» and «Personal blog». (1) The texts, photos and contact details in a template are a sample of a fictional business (in «Personal blog», of a fictional person); you replace them with your own and are responsible for everything published on the site (section 8). (2) The templates in the «Online shops» category are an online shop with a cart and online payment on the site, at a price of their own — see section 2A; the templates in the «Personal blog» category are at a price of their own, ₪299. (3) Images from the SHio library come with a non-exclusive licence, as set out in section 10(b), and may be used on this site; the fonts are Google Fonts under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.

Images from a shared library, created with artificial intelligence — see sections 10–11. You can replace them with your own.

Contact links on the site: phone, WhatsApp and/or email — whichever you gave.

A free preview of the site that opens on screen right after you choose a template, so you can view and change it before you buy.

A site builder in the preview: before you buy, you can reorder blocks, hide and bring them back, add a text block of your own and up to 5 pages of your own, choose the site's style, colours (in the styles where they can be changed), the look of the opening screen, fonts, and a look and colour for each block, and fix texts right on the page. Changes are saved automatically and carry over to the site you buy. Before you buy you can also put in your own photos or pick photos from our library (we keep your photos until the purchase; after it they move into your site). The builder arranges whole blocks; it does not allow free placement of elements on the page.

Effects: every template has its own signature animation effects. On top of that — optionally and at no extra cost — you can choose one effect pack (Lively, Wow or Cinema): it is added to the template’s effects and removes none of them. You choose, change or turn off the pack in the builder before you buy and in the control panel after the handover, at any time. Effects are not shown to visitors who chose “reduce motion” in their device settings or pressed “Stop animations” in the accessibility menu. Effects may look slightly different in different browsers, and older browsers show the site without some of them — this does not affect how the site works.

The option to ask us to rewrite the text (a "rebuild") once, before you accept.

The site and its database are created in your own Netlify account (section 12), for a one-time payment of ₪299, ₪299 for a site from a «Personal blog» template, ₪399 for a site from a designer template, or ₪599 for a site from an online-shop template (sections 2A and 15), with no subscription. The site includes an admin panel where you change all the text, prices and contact details, upload your own photos and choose colours, fonts and a colour for each block. The admin panel also has the same builder; changes made in it go live when you press «Save to the site». The site's source code is not handed over.

The panel and the site also include: a contact form with notifications to your phone, online booking by the opening hours you set, editing right on the page, reordering and hiding the parts of the page with a look for each, client reviews via a link, a promotion strip with an end date, statistics without cookies, a page for every service, a links page and a QR code. What is kept about visitors — section 18A.

A free trial of SHio Alive — an AI sales agent on the site: 3 days from the first conversation or 20 conversations, whichever comes first. When it ends she disappears from the site by herself, with no charge and nothing to cancel; keeping her is a separate purchase. Details — in the «Free trial of an AI sales agent» section of the Terms of Use.

2A. Online-shop template

(a) The templates in the «Online shops» category are a working online shop: a cart, online card payment on the site, up to 100 products with sizes, colours and stock, orders in the admin panel, order emails, customer accounts, and a newsletter sign-up with export of the addresses to a CSV file. A site from such a template costs ₪599, a one-time payment (section 15). Everything else in these terms applies to it as to any SHio Basic site.

(b) Payment in your shop goes through your own account with a payment provider — PayPlus, Tranzila, Grow, Cardcom, Hyp, iCredit, PayPal or Stripe — which you open with that provider, under its terms and fees, and whose keys you enter in the admin panel yourself. Your customers' money goes directly to you: SHio does not receive it, does not hold it, takes no commission on it and takes no part in your sales. Order emails are sent through your own Resend account, whose key you also enter in the admin panel.

(c) Towards your customers, you are the seller, and SHio is not a party to any transaction between you and them. You are responsible for your products and how they are described, prices, stock, delivery, returns and cancellations, receipts and tax invoices, taxes, and for complying with the law that applies to you — including the Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981, and its provisions on distance sales, and the rules on sending advertising messages: send the newsletter only to people who agreed to receive it.

(d) The shop's legal pages — terms of sale, delivery and returns — like the site's other legal pages (section 3), are a sample wording prepared for a typical clothing shop. Before you start selling, check them with a lawyer, adapt them to your business and confirm them in the admin panel.

(e) Your customers' details (names, addresses, orders, newsletter subscribers) are stored in your site's database, in your Netlify account; you are responsible for them, as set out in section 18A.

3. What is not included

Not included: an online shop and payments on the site (except a site from an online-shop template, section 2A — and even then the account with the payment provider is yours and you open it yourself), a domain name, photographs of your business (you can upload them yourself in the admin panel), a logo, and support or maintenance beyond section 14. The site has privacy, terms-of-use and accessibility-statement pages in a typical wording we prepared from what the site actually does, with a note to the site owner; you check, preferably with your own lawyer, that they fit your business. They are not legal advice. Any change after transfer is made by you, in the admin panel, or as a separate paid order.

4. Steps

(a) You choose a template and give your email; (b) we create the site and show you a free preview right on the screen (it is also available via the link on the order page); (c) you check the site and change it in the builder if you wish; (d) if the site suits you — you tick the consent box next to the Buy button and pay; this is your confirmation of the site (where payment was taken manually, the confirmation is the "Accept the site" button on the order page); (e) you connect your Netlify account with the button on the order page (it also comes by email), and we create the site in it (section 12).

5. Delivery time

(a) The preview opens free of charge right after you choose a template — usually within seconds and no later than 30 minutes. If the site's subject needs a manual check under section 9(b), the site is transferred after that check.

(b) The preview, with all your changes, is kept while you decide (section 7), so nothing needs to be rebuilt after payment.

(c) "Business days" are Sunday to Thursday, excluding Fridays, Saturdays and Israeli holidays. In counting the times in this section and in section 6, time in which we are waiting for you, and time in which a third-party service outside our reasonable control is unavailable, is not counted.

(d) Transferring the site starts with your confirmation of the site (section 4(d)): you connect your Netlify account, and we create the site in it (section 12). The time until you connect it is time in which we are waiting for you.

6. Delay on our side — cancellation and full refund

If you have paid and did not receive from us the site created in your Netlify account (section 12(a)) within 3 business days of your confirmation of the site, for a reason on our side — you may cancel the transaction by notice to support@shioweb.com and receive a full refund of the amount paid. In addition, if this is not done within 10 business days of that time, for any reason not on your side — you may cancel and receive a full refund. The refund is made to the original means of payment within 14 days of the cancellation notice. This does not limit any other right you have by law.

7. The preview

The preview is hosted temporarily on our infrastructure, free of charge, for viewing and changes only, and is not meant for publication or commercial use before the transfer. One free preview per email address. The preview with your changes is kept; if you don't buy right away, about two hours later we email you a link to it once. We may delete a preview that hasn't been bought or opened for more than 90 days. We may remove from the preview at any time content that appears to us unlawful or infringing.

8. You check and accept the content — and it is your responsibility

(a) The site opens with the sample texts of the template you chose — they describe a made-up business, not yours. Before confirming the site, replace them with your own and check every detail: business name, services, prices, hours, contact details, and any claim about experience, qualifications, licences, results, comparisons with competitors, or "the best".

(b) Confirming the site confirms that you have checked the content, that it is accurate, that its prices and claims are lawful and can be substantiated, and that you are responsible for it as the advertiser towards your customers and the authorities, including under the Israeli Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981.

(c) Testimonials: provide only real ones, with the consent of the person quoted. Replace the template's sample testimonials with real ones or remove them.

(d) Regulated professions (e.g. medicine, law, accounting, financial advice) have special advertising rules — compliance is up to you.

(e) You confirm you have the right to use the business name, marks and content you provide, and that they do not infringe anyone's rights.

(f) The site's privacy policy, terms of use and accessibility statement are sample wording that we provide. They are published in your name, as your business's own documents, and you are solely responsible for their content, accuracy and compliance with the law; SHio is not a party to them towards your visitors, customers or the authorities. The admin asks you to confirm this; until you do, each document ends with a note that it is the template's wording, and we keep your confirmation with its date. Even without a confirmation, publishing the site with these documents means you accept responsibility for their content.

9. Content we won't produce

(a) We will not create a site, or keep hosting a preview, that deals directly or indirectly with any of the following: any sexual content involving minors, in any form; pornography and erotic content, escort and sexual services, prostitution, erotic massage, striptease, webcam and sex shops; non-consensual sexual content, including revenge porn, hidden cameras and deepfakes; gambling of any kind; selling or making weapons, ammunition or explosives; drugs and their substitutes; physical or emotional threats against a person or group, intimidation, harassment, blackmail, revenge, violence for hire and incitement to violence; terrorism and extremism; discrimination or hate based on race, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or age; fraud, including pyramid schemes, 'guaranteed income', binary options, forged documents and diplomas, counterfeit brands and money laundering; hacking accounts, malware and tracking a person without their knowledge; trafficking in people or organs; prescription drugs without prescription and claims to cure diseases; promoting suicide, self-harm or eating disorders; selling personal data or exposing other people's personal details; piracy; stolen or other prohibited goods; impersonating a government body, the police, a bank, a known brand or a real person; and any other content or activity that is unlawful in Israel.

(b) Some areas are lawful but we check them manually before transferring the site and may refuse them at our discretion: cryptocurrency, trading, loans and multi-level marketing; vapes, tobacco and hookah; CBD and medical cannabis; fireworks, knives and self-defence devices; private investigation; surrogacy; paid spells and curse removal; and dating services.

(c) To enforce this section, the site's texts and photos are checked automatically, including by an AI model, and where needed by a person. We may refuse to create a site, stop the process or take a preview down at any stage if in our view the business or content is prohibited under this section, or is unlawful, misleading, offensive or infringing. Such a refusal after you have already paid entitles you to a full refund.

(d) By choosing a template and paying for the site you declare that your business is lawful and does not deal with any of the areas in subsection (a). If the information you gave turns out to be false, we may keep the order details and pass them to the competent authorities, to the extent the law requires or allows.

(e) After the transfer too, the site's admin panel will not save text in the areas listed in subsection (a). This does not make us responsible in any way for the site's content after the transfer — see section 12(d).

10. Rights in the content and code

(a) Copy: the texts you write yourself are yours. For the template's sample texts that you keep on the site, you receive on transfer a non-exclusive licence on the same terms as for the images (subsection (b)); they are shared by many buyers, so we do not warrant that they are unique.

(b) Images: they were created with artificial intelligence and come from a shared set and a shared photo library, so they cannot be handed over exclusively and no ownership in them is transferred. You receive a free, perpetual, non-exclusive permission to use, modify and publish them for any lawful business purpose, on and off the site, on the terms of point (e) of «Sample content» in the general Terms (shioweb.com/legal#demo-content). The same images may appear on other buyers' sites. Any resemblance to real people, places or objects is coincidental, and SHio is not responsible for it.

(c) Code: the site's source code is not handed over to you and remains SHio's property. On transfer you receive a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to run and host the site as transferred for your business, and to change its content in the admin panel. You may not copy, sell or distribute the site or its code, or a site-generation system based on it, as a product to others.

(d) Everything you put in yourself in the builder — texts, photos, contact details — remains yours.

11. No exclusivity, no uniqueness

SHio Basic is an automated service. The page structure, design and images are shared by many buyers, and similar wording may recur. We do not screen who buys, including your competitors.

12. Transfer, and what happens after

(a) After payment and your confirmation of the site, you press "Connect Netlify" (on the order page, where the button appears right after payment, or in the email), sign in or sign up to Netlify and press "Authorize". We then create the site, with its database and admin panel, directly in your own Netlify account, show the site's address and the admin-panel password on the order page (for 7 days) and email them to you, usually within half an hour. Creating the site in your account is the transfer under these terms. You may consent to 14 days of free support (section 14) with the tick box next to the Buy button or when connecting Netlify.

(b) Opening and using a Netlify account is between you and Netlify, under its terms, allowances and prices. Under Netlify's terms as of this document's date, its free plan allows a business website but has a monthly usage allowance: if it is exceeded, Netlify pauses the account's sites until the start of the next month, unless you move to a paid plan. Netlify may change or discontinue its free plan. Check Netlify's current terms before paying.

(c) Once the transfer is complete, the site, its database and the account are under your control. Our access to your account is only under section 14 (14 days of support, with your consent); beyond that we have no access. We are not responsible for the site's availability, its content, the security of your accounts, or changes to the terms and prices of Netlify or any other provider.

(d) From the moment the transfer is complete, you alone are responsible for all content on the site, for any change you make to it and for its compliance with the law, and you are its owner and publisher for all purposes. You undertake not to use the site for content or activity prohibited under section 9. We do not monitor the site after the transfer and are not responsible for content you publish on it; if we learn of such use, we may report it to the hosting provider and to the competent authorities. Confirming the site includes your agreement to this subsection.

13. Domain and accessibility

You buy and renew the domain yourself, in your name and at your cost. We connect it to the site free of charge during the 14 days of support (section 14); after that, you connect it yourself with the guide. Accessibility obligations that apply to your business (including the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities regulations and Israeli Standard 5568) are yours, including an accessibility statement if required. Appointing an accessibility coordinator and having the site checked by a certified accessibility professional are your responsibility; SHio is not responsible for the site's accessibility compliance.

14. Support

SHio Basic includes 14 days of free technical support and one month of free answers to questions about using the site, as set out in the section «Free support for 14 days and access to your Netlify account» of the SHio Terms of Use (shioweb.com/legal) — including the rules for our access to your Netlify account and how to revoke it. Beyond that, SHio Basic does not include maintenance, updates or backups: content and design changes you make yourself in the admin panel, and other work for you is not part of the purchase. Section 15(d) applies in addition, and also after the support period ends.

We provide support under this section, including our access to your Netlify account, only for a site whose content does not breach section 9 (prohibited content). Each time you contact support, we automatically check the site's texts and photos — including with an AI model and, where needed, by a person. The check happens only when you contact us; we do not monitor the site on an ongoing basis (section 12(d)). If content prohibited under section 9 is found on the site, we may decline or stop support, and in that case we end our access to your Netlify account; we may also ask you to remove the «Site built by SHio» credit from the site. Support comes with the purchase at no extra charge, so declining or stopping it for this reason does not give rise to a refund (see also section 15(c)). If the law requires us to report such content to the competent authorities, we will do so. Nothing in this section limits a right you have by law.

15. Price, payment and VAT; cancellations and refunds

(a) The price is final: ₪299, a one-time payment, with no subscription and no recurring charges. A site from a «Personal blog» template costs ₪299, a site from a designer template (the «Designer» category) ₪399, and a site from an online-shop template (section 2A) ₪599, on the same terms; for them, everything this paragraph says about ₪299 applies to their price. You pay in advance, after checking the preview: the «Buy» button on your order page opens the secure payment page of monobank (the Ukrainian bank «Universal Bank»), where you pay by Visa or Mastercard, Apple Pay or Google Pay. SHio is a Ukrainian business, so the card is charged in Ukrainian hryvnias: the amount is calculated from ₪299 at the official National Bank of Ukraine rate on the day of payment, minus 5% in your favour and rounded down, and is shown on the payment page before you confirm — the reduction is there so that, converted back to shekels, the amount normally does not exceed ₪299. Your card issuer converts the charge at its own rate and may add a conversion or foreign-transaction fee under your agreement with it. If, because of this, the shekel amount on your statement is higher than ₪299, the difference comes from your issuer's exchange rate and fees, which SHio does not set, does not receive and is not responsible for. You enter your card details on the bank's page; we never receive or store them. The seller is not an Israeli VAT-registered dealer and does not charge VAT. The receipt for your payment is emailed to you; it is not an Israeli tax invoice.

(b) Cancelling before the transfer: if you have paid and we have not yet started creating the site in your Netlify account (section 12(a)), you may cancel by writing to support@shioweb.com and get a full refund, with no cancellation fee. For cancellation due to delay or refusal on our side, see also sections 6 and 9.

(c) No refund after the transfer: the site was put together and changed by you in the builder, and it is digital information delivered to you in full. By confirming the site you ask us to start the transfer right away and agree that your right to cancel ends when we start creating the site in your Netlify account. Under section 14C(d) of the Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981, and the regulations made under it, from that moment there is no refund for building the site, in full or in part — including because of any change you make to the site, content you publish on it, the way you use it, or a decision not to use it. We do not disable or remove a site that has been transferred to you; decisions about it are yours and your responsibility.

(d) A fault on our side: if after the transfer something described in section 2 does not work as described because of a fault in our code, write to support@shioweb.com and we will fix it free of charge (this is in addition to support under section 14, and also after it). If we have not fixed it within 7 days of your message, you may cancel and get a full refund. To fix it we need access to your Netlify account under section 14; if you did not give it, the 7 days count from when you do. This does not apply to a fault caused by a change you made, by Netlify or another provider, or by going over Netlify's free-tier allowance.

(e) If you were charged twice for the same order, or charged without placing an order, you get a full refund of the extra charge. We reply to any cancellation or refund request within 24 hours. A refund, where due, is paid to the original payment method within 14 days of the cancellation notice. Any refund covers only the amount paid to SHio (₪299 — also for a «Personal blog» template, ₪399 for a designer template, or ₪599 for an online-shop template); payments to Netlify, your domain registrar or any other third-party company are not refunded by us. Nothing in these terms limits a right you have by law that cannot be contracted out of.

16. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows: the site is provided "as is"; we do not promise it will bring customers, revenue or search ranking; our total liability in connection with the purchase will not exceed the amount you paid; and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits. These limits do not apply to harm we cause wilfully or by gross negligence, and do not limit any right the law does not allow to be excluded, including under section 36 of the Consumer Protection Law.

Third-party companies: the site runs in your Netlify account and on your domain, and — if you connect them — with a payment company, email, analytics and advertising services, and an AI sales agent through ElevenLabs. With each of these companies you have your own agreement, on its terms and prices, to which SHio is not a party. SHio is not liable for their service, outages, discontinuation, changes to prices and terms, the blocking of your account, loss of data or any harm from their acts or omissions. If part of the site stops working because of them, it is not a fault under section 15(d) and not a ground for a refund. In full — «Third-party companies and services» in SHio's Terms of Use (shioweb.com/legal).

17. Indemnity

If a claim is brought against us over content you provided or accepted under section 8, over content you published on the site after the transfer, over the site's legal documents under section 8(f), over your site's or business's failure to comply with the law, including accessibility and privacy requirements, or over use of the site contrary to section 9, you will cover our reasonable costs and any amount we are ordered to pay, provided we notify you promptly and let you defend it.

18. Privacy — what we do with the order data

(a) Collected: your email, the template you chose and everything you put in the builder before buying — business name, texts, contact details and address, opening hours, services and prices, testimonials, and the photos you uploaded yourself. We do not collect or store payment card details.

(b) Why: to generate the site, check that it doesn't deal with an area prohibited under section 9 (including when you contact support), send you the preview and payment confirmation, complete the transfer, and meet legal obligations. We won't use it for marketing without separate consent, and we don't sell it.

(c) Shared with: the AI provider Anthropic (to check the content under section 9), our cloud infrastructure providers (hosting the preview, and the databases holding the order and the site's content), Netlify (creating the site in your account), and the email provider Resend. Some providers operate outside Israel and the data may be stored outside Israel.

(d) Required? There's no legal duty to provide it, but without it we can't build the site. The contact details you give are meant to appear on a public website.

(e) Retention: we keep the order data and the site's texts for as long as they're needed to fulfil the order and as the law requires; photos uploaded before buying — until the site is transferred (then they move into your site), or up to 60 days if the site is not bought; payment records — as required by law.

(f) Access, correction, deletion: write to support@shioweb.com and we'll delete the data on request, except what we must keep by law. After transfer, the copy in your accounts is under your control only.

18A. Data of visitors to your site

(a) What the site keeps: once the site moves to you, it has its own admin panel and database. Depending on the parts you switch on, it stores: enquiries from the contact form (name, phone and message), booking requests (name, phone, note and time), reviews that clients leave through your link, and a count of visits and of taps on the contact buttons — overall numbers per day only, with no cookies and no IP addresses. To stop the forms being flooded, a hashed value of the IP address is kept and deleted within a day. Enquiries, bookings and reviews are deleted automatically after 12 months.

(b) Who is responsible for the data: you, the site owner, decide which parts to switch on and what to do with the data, and you are responsible for it towards visitors and under any law. The site includes a starting privacy policy that updates itself to match the parts you have switched on. It is general wording, not legal advice — we recommend showing it to a lawyer (section 19).

(c) From the transfer on, the site and its database are in your accounts and we have no access to them, except under section 14 with your consent.

(e) Outside services: notifications about an enquiry or booking reach your phone through the notification service of your browser or device maker (for example Apple, Google or Mozilla) and contain the person's name and a short summary. The map loads from Google Maps only after a visitor clicks “Show the map”. Measurement and advertising tools (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel) load only if you added them in the admin panel, and only after the visitor agreed in the cookie banner; their use is your responsibility.

19. Independent advice

SHio is not a law firm and does not give legal, tax or marketing advice. We recommend consulting your own lawyer about your site's content and your business's obligations.

20. Force majeure

Delay caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control (including war, hostilities, widespread infrastructure failures) extends the time in section 5 by their duration, subject to the cancellation right in section 6.

21. Changes

Each purchase is governed by the version published at the time of payment. Later changes do not apply to a purchase already made.

22. Seller details

SHio is the trade name under which the seller operates. Seller: ⁨Individual Entrepreneur (FOP) Iryna Burman⁩, Tax ID ⁨3506006167⁩.

Address: ⁨77 Prokhorovska St., apt. 18, Odesa, Ukraine⁩. Address in Israel: No address in Israel.

Email: ⁨support@shioweb.com⁩.

Not an Israeli VAT-registered dealer and does not charge VAT itself; prices on the site are final and include any tax that applies to the purchase.

23. Law, jurisdiction and language

These terms are governed solely by Israeli law, and any dispute will be heard in the competent courts of the Tel Aviv district, Israel. This does not limit any right the law gives you to sue elsewhere. If language versions conflict, the Hebrew version prevails.

With your consent we will also use Google and Meta cookies to measure how the site is used and to show you relevant ads. Details
